We are always happy to hosts visitors to our beautiful city.

Although we are primarily located in The Hague we also provide support to the surrounding cities in Zuid Holland, including Wassenaar, Leiden, Delft and Zoetermeer.

Shabbat

If you plan on attending Shabbat services or Shabbat meals, please reach out to us in advance.

At the moment we don't have weekly communal Shabbat meals, however it may be possible to to participate in a Shabbat meal with the Rabbi or with other community members.

If it is your first time visiting the synagogue, please send an email with a picture of your passport to [email protected].

Shul Services

The Jewish community (NIG) is home to two shuls, one in the Bezuidenhout neighborhood, and one in Scheveningen.

On Sunday mornings we often have a minyan in Scheveningen. We don't have other weekday minyanim.

Kosher

Unfortunately the kosher grocery in The Hague has closed down in May 2023. At the moment we don't have a Kosher store or catering. Kosher meals can be ordered in Amsterdam. Please plan your trip accordingly.

Mikvah

The Hague is home to a beautiful newly renovated mikvah. Please contact Mrs. Sara Katzman to book an appointment.

Upon request Rabbi Mendel Katzman can provide a history walking tour of the former Jewish Quarter. The tour takes about one and half hours.
